In addition to this the charity is funding, with generous support from companies who manufacture the implants needed for joint relacement a post at the University of East Anglia of an Academic Reader. This post is held by Mr Simon Donell who is also a consultant surgeon in the Orthopaedic department at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. The charity is funding a research associate and a research secretary to support this position.
